Stopping the Violence Outreach services

Outreach Services is a free, confidential service for women who have experienced or are at risk of violence in intimate relationships, whether or not they have accessed the Y Women’s Emergency Shelter or police.

Women can call anonymously at 250-320-3110, meet with us in the community or in the office – whatever is safest for THEM.

We offer referral and accompaniment to medical, legal and other service agencies. We can provide information and support to empower women who may prefer to navigate these systems and services on their own. Outreach offers one-to-one as well as group and peer support.

Upon request, Outreach Services is available for public education and awareness workshops around gender-based violence and violence against women.
