We know children thrive in an environment where everyone belongs and can explore, learn and have fun together. And that's what you'll find at our YMCA Kids Club licensed school age child care Interior locations. Parents will have peace of mind that their children are active and learning as well as spending time with friends in our values-based program that uses the fundamentals of YMCA Healthy Child Development by creating opportunities for play, health, and positive relationships to allow them to learn, grow and thrive!

We are pleased to inform you that transportation services for before and after school care at the YMCA Riverside Care and Learning Centre may be provided by School District #58. Currently, the district is able to offer this bussing service within their existing operations, and as a result, there is no charge for this service to families. Please note that this transportation service will be reassessed annually.
This service must be arranged between the parent and the school district. YMCA BC is not part of the agreement. Staff will walk children to the bus stop at Riverside in the morning and sign them onto the bus and pick children up from the bus stop at the end of the day and sign them into our care.
Parents needing this service can register their child on the SD58 website by opening the Parent/Students/Bus Information tab and then completing the Microsoft form. This must then go to the schools secretary and they will ensure that student has access as well as a bus pass. Parents must provide written permission for the YMCA to release your children to School District #58 bussing as an authorized pickup.
